On Saturday, June 11,2011 from 9 to noon, the Woodbury Heights Lake Association in conjunction with the Kickin' Bass Fishing Club, The South Jersey Bass Club, Blackwater Sportscenter, and STC Sports held the Annual Woodbury Heights Glen Lake Fishing Derby. Free refreshments were served by members of the Woodbury Heights Lake Association before the winning results were announced. The weather was excellent and the enthusiasm was evident with 80 entrants ranging in ages from 5 and under to 16. Sean Flynn and members of the Kickin' Bass Club awarded winners with special prizes (trophies, fishing poles, and fishing gear) and all other participants received assorted give-aways. All together the 80 youth caught 130 fish (between them) and enjoyed a great day out in the sunshine casting for fish, observing snapper turtles and relaxing with friends and family around beautiful Glen Lake
